Dress for Success Western
Massachusetts promotes the economic
independence of all women by
providing professional attire, a network
of support, and career development
tools to help them thrive in work
and life.
In 2024, Dress for Success Western Massachusetts
received a three-year $133,000 grant to expand
workforce development services, including establishing
a Women’s Career Center in Springfield. As the region’s
only women-specific workforce development
organization, Dress for Success Western MA is improving
the skills and diversity of the workforce, reducing
reliance on public assistance, and addressing income
disparities.
Workshops at the Career Center will offer:
• Resume writing and interview preparation
• Job search strategies and computer skills
• Financial literacy education
The Women’s Career Center can drive generational
change, strengthening Western Massachusetts
communities while expanding economic pathways
for women.
