EMPHASIS ON CAREER READINESS
Girls Inc. of Boston & Lynn
Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn (GIBL) inspires all
girls to be strong, smart, and bold by equipping
them with the skills and support to become
self-sufficient and responsible leaders in the
community.
The Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts
has awarded GIBL two multi-year grants to
launch Project Accelerate in Lynn and Boston,
a program supporting young women through
the critical transitions from high school to
college to career.
“Girls Inc. allows me to thrive academically, creatively, and socially.
The lessons that I have learned at Girls Inc. will continue influencing me
as a student and a learner as I move through post-secondary education,
showing that I am able to make education into something that engages
all types of learners. ” — 12th Grade Participant
