In September 2025, we proudly marked a defining milestone
in our history: The Women’s Foundation of Boston is now the
Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts.
This update is more than a name change. It’s a reflection
of our on-going impact.
What began with a bold vision to invest in the economic
potential of women and girls in Greater Boston has grown
into the Commonwealth’s leading catalyst for women’s
economic empowerment serving communities across every
region of the state.
Since awarding our first grant in 2018, our growth has been
strategic, mission-driven, and grounded in measurable results.
